Hokkaido trip finally, after a 3 years period, got another chance to visit Japan again. This time started with a tour package with Chan Brothers to Hokkaido, followed by a 4 days extension to explore Tokyo again. Even though we had been to Tokyo in 2007 but it seems that there are still many places in Tokyo that we had missed out. Tokyo is indeed a shopping heaven and therefore to me, another 4 days are never enough. Note: the actual date of the trip is stated at the beginning of each post, just for references.
I have make a map which briefly show the itinerary of our Hokkaido trip, this give a clearer view of where we were heading for.

Hokkaido Trip 13th June 2010: Signed up the morning flight itinerary instead of the night flight. I personally find that morning flight is better as you can take a night rest at the hotel before you start the journey on a fresh new day. This is best for people who is unable to rest/sleep on the plane like me. We departed from Changi Airport T2 at about 8:15am, flying with ANA NH112.

Reached Narita Airport at about 4:30pm. Our connection flight to Sapporo Chitose Airport was scheduled to be at 7pm. While waiting, took some pictures at the Narita Domestic flight area.
Yummy Hokkaido fresh milk while waiting for the connecting flight.

High tech toilet!

We were suppose to board a connection flight to Chitose Airport at 7pm but last minute there was a bad weather condition in Sapporo and there might be chance that the plane would be forced to land in Haneda Airport instead. Well, we were worried throughout the entire flight journey but eventually the plane was allowed to fly direct to Chitose Airport. What a relief!
Stayed overnight at Sapporo Apa Hotel & Resort. We were given a extremely small room which I think it should be a standard twin room with 3 single beds squeezed into it. We are a family of 4 and imagine how cramp it was till we could only open 1 luggage at a time, sigh! Very disappointed over this as such a big hotel with this kind of small room being arranged for us.

Bought our late dinner/supper at the hotel lobby vending machines. Not too bad after all, probably because we were too tired and hungry.
